It\u2019s a declaration that God, or Yahweh, is the one who always makes a way for us, ensuring that we are never abandoned,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>This is Damiedon\u2019s first song for 2024. In December, 2023, he shared the mic with Flourgon and Brotha George on <strong><em>\u2018Cast The First Stone\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, a rocking gospel song that heard him showing off his deejay skills.<\/p>\n<p>Damiedon is a member of the Hawthorne family, operators of the popular Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery, founded by his uncle Lowell. His parents,\u00a0Leroy and Herma Hawthorne, are pastors at Bible Truth Church of God International in the Bronx.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBeing a pastor\u2019s kid, I\u2019ve grown up surrounded by the teachings of faith, which have shaped my character and outlook. Faith is not just something I practice; it\u2019s embedded in every part of who I am. It\u2019s the force that keeps me grounded, especially in the music industry, where criticism and challenges are constant,\u201d Damiedon explained. \u201cThrough my music, like in \u2018Yahweh\u2019, I\u2019m expressing that faith and hope that has carried me through the highs and lows.
