It is co-produced by Ed Robinson and Dwight Oliver and was released on August 30.<\/p>\n<p>Oliver also wrote <strong><em>\u2018We Need More Love\u2019<\/em><\/strong> which carries a powerful message that appealed to the South Florida-based Ball.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe inspiration came from observing the world around us and realizing how much more kindness and understanding we need in our daily lives. I wanted to create a song that would encourage people to come together, regardless of their differences, and spread love and positivity. It&#8217;s a message that I think resonates now more than ever,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u2018We Need More Love\u2019<\/em><\/strong> also addresses the growing number of inter-racial marriages in contemporary society, relationships that were once frowned on. Ball, who was born in the United Kingdom to Jamaican parents, describes such bonds as \u201ca beautiful testament to the fact that love can transcend cultural and racial differences.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The song is different in tone to <strong><em>\u2018This Man of Mine\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, Ball\u2019s previous song which is also written by Oliver. That single is about a woman in a one-sided relationship with an uncommitted lover.<\/p>\n<p>Ball, who has been a recording artist for over three decades, has no problem doing songs with messages.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMusic has always been a powerful tool for communication and change, and I feel a strong responsibility to use my platform to share positive messages. I love creating songs that not only entertain but also inspire and provoke thought.
