This 12-song release reintroduced the artist, who gained some fame in 1978 with his local hit <strong><em>\u2018Rockers Not Crackers\u2019<\/em><\/strong> for the Joe Gibbs label, to reggae fans around the globe.<\/p>\n<p>The same style is utilized in Washington\u2019s latest album, the 14-track <strong><em>\u2018Feeling Irie\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, which is produced by seasoned producer and musician Willie Lindo, who also worked on the singer\u2019s 2020 release, <strong><em>\u2018I\u2019m Livin Well\u2019<\/em><\/strong>. In this instance, Glen Washington explores riddims from producer Duke Reid\u2019s vast Treasure Isle catalogue. However, unlike the <strong><em>\u2018Brother to Brother\u2019<\/em><\/strong> collection, the riddims featured here are not the original versions but rather new interpretations.<\/p>\n<p>The album, digitally released on download and streaming platforms, features tracks such as <strong><em>\u2018Feeling Irie\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>\u2018They Will Soon Have to Pay\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>\u2018Wherever You Go\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, and <strong><em>\u2018Home Again\u2019<\/em><\/strong>. In addition to producing the album, Willie Lindo, a prominent session guitarist from Federal Records in the 1970s, contributes his talents as a musician.
