After a 10-year absence reggae artiste Terry Linen is set to return to New York City in July.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe first time I performed in the US, I was on a tour with Sanchez, promoting my debut album titled Terry Linen in 2000. Since then, I\u2019ve performed all over the states. Everywhere I\u2019ve been I\u2019ve always received a warm reception but there\u2019s something magical about performing in New York,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The golden voice singer who shot to fame in the late 90s with a cover version of Whitney Houston\u2019s, \u2018Your Love Is My Love\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, is the headline act for Pastor Sheldon Evans\u2019s Gospel Cruise. This event is scheduled to take place onboard the Liberty Belle Cruise Ship which will be docked at the Brooklyn Army Terminal on July 7.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m looking forward to this event, I can\u2019t wait to re-connect with my fan base in New York and I am sure some new fans will be added to the list after this upcoming performance. Over the years a lot of persons living in New York who have never seen me performing live before having reached out to me via social media expressing their desire to see me on stage. Now the time has come and I\u2019m going to make it worth the wait,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n He continued, \u201cI plan to deliver a healing performance for my fans in New York, they\u2019ve been waiting for a very long time to see me. I\u2019m going to make up for my absence by giving them something to treasure for a lifetime. My music is not just reggae music it\u2019s healing music and I\u2019m going deliver the healing when I touch the stage on the Liberty Bell in New York on July 7.\u201d<\/p>\n Terry Linen recently performed at events in various parts of the US including California and Florida.\u00a0 He is currently enjoying much attention with songs such as \u2018God Is My Weakness\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, \u2018Money Games\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, \u2018Goodness of God\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, \u2018No Longer A Slave\u2019<\/em><\/strong> and \u2018Just Say Yes\u2019<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n This year\u2019s staging of Pastor Sheldon Evans\u2019s Gospel Cruise will also feature performances from Prodigal Son, Natalie Evans, Emrand Henry, and DJ Kester Deane.
