There was so much uncertainty and it always felt like you were waiting to hear what else is coming around the corner. Meanwhile, all of these platforms were saying different things and telling you what you should and shouldn\u2019t trust or believe in. The essence of the song is just to question everything,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u2018Proppa Ghanda\u2019<\/em><\/strong> is the second of King Cruff\u2019s songs that Banx &amp; Ranx have produced, following the dancehall\/reggae track Fallback, his collaboration with fellow Jamaican artiste Runkus which was released earlier this year and named one of Billboard\u2019s Reggae\/Dancehall Fresh Picks of the Month.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe created this song during our very first session with King Cruff and it was the start of a strong friendship,\u201d say Banx &amp; Ranx. \u201cWe were immediately inspired by Cruff\u2019s songwriting style of taking Jamaican music into a new universe, so for <strong><em>\u2018Proppa Ghanda\u2019 <\/em><\/strong>we blended some funk rhythms, disco grooves, electronic elements, and of course, heavy basslines, for a smooth, infectious melody alongside Cruff\u2019s deep lyrics.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The track is already the fourth single to be released by King Cruff this year via Universal Music Canada\/Tuff Gong Collective, following <strong><em>\u2018Toronto Condo Girls\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>\u2018Lingo\u2019<\/em><\/strong> (both of which feature Nigerian Canadian artiste Solo YT), and Fallback.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Canadian-Jamaican artiste King Cruff released his new single \u2018Proppa Ghanda\u2019 featuring multi-platinum producer-songwriter duo Banx &amp; Ranx via Tuff Gong Collective\/Universal Music Canada, the country\u2019s leading music company.
