{"id":7975,"date":"2024-03-08T09:21:20","date_gmt":"2024-03-08T09:21:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sandbox.reggaenorthca.com\/?p=7975"},"modified":"2024-03-08T09:28:11","modified_gmt":"2024-03-08T09:28:11","slug":"dj-lolipop-makes-his-debut-with-breadcrumbs-rhythm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sandbox.reggaenorthca.com\/?p=7975","title":{"rendered":"DJ Lolipop Makes his Debut with Breadcrumbs Rhythm"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Disc jockey DJ Lolipop recently made his debut as a producer with the release of the <strong><em>\u2018Breadcrumbs rhythm\u2019<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The popular DJ who has been in the music business since 2015 said it was just a matter of time before he ventured into music production.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI grew up listening to various genres of music including reggae, dancehall, and Hip Hop. As a teenager I was a very big Hip Hop fan, and as I grew older, I decided to become a rapper. After I began rapping, I eventually became a DJ and ended up in radio broadcasting. So, getting into music production is a natural progression for me because I love music,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The project which features three songs, Bugle\u2019s <strong><em>\u2018Like Biscuit\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, Jah Vinci\u2019s <strong><em>\u2018Where Is the Love\u2019<\/em><\/strong> and Yaksta\u2019s <strong><em>\u2018Rich A Morning\u2019<\/em><\/strong> was released on the Pot Sink Musik imprint on February 23.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe rhythm has only been out a few weeks now but the response that it\u2019s getting is overwhelming. It\u2019s getting a lot of airplays in Jamaica, the US, Africa and Europe. It\u2019s also getting strong support from various sound-system DJs and selectors all over the island,\u201d said Lolipop.<\/p>\n<p>He also revealed that he\u2019s currently working on the next project for his Pot Sink Musik label.\u00a0 \u201cI\u2019m already working on the next project for my label. However, I don\u2019t want to say much about it at the moment but it\u2019s going to be hot,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>DJ Lolipop given name Kerryo Brown hails from Commodore district in St. Catherine.
