Veteran deejay Sister Carol, owner of that label, is co-executive producer of the 14-song project with her daughter Nakeeba Amaniyea.<\/p>\n<p>The mother and daughter collaborated on <strong><em>\u2018Be Alone\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, the album\u2019s lead single which was released last September.\u00a0 Describing <strong><em>\u2018MMS Millenium\u2019<\/em><\/strong> as \u201ca tremendous achievement for our family and for myself\u201d, Sister Carol said she and her team went all out to do justice to the original rhythm which was produced by the legendary Clement \u201cCoxson\u201d Dodd.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have such a reverence for the Studio One version of this track. We were committed to getting the best musicians to execute this production and we want to offer our new interpretation of this classic to the rich tradition of Jamaican music,\u201d she stated.<\/p>\n<p>Marcia Aitken, Sister Nancy, Lady G, Lady Ann, Sammy Dread, Michael Palmer and Glen Washington are some of the stalwart acts on the album. There are also contributions from Tilly Beng, Hempress Sativa, Empress TreJah and Willo Wilson.<\/p>\n<p>The New York-based Empress TreJah covers <strong><em>\u2018Consider Me\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, a classic 1979 song by Jennifer Lara. The original was also produced by Dodd on the <strong><em>\u2018Movie Star rhythm\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, which was initially done in 1969 by Delroy Wilson.
