{"id":7204,"date":"2023-11-24T13:13:55","date_gmt":"2023-11-24T13:13:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sandbox.reggaenorthca.com\/?p=7204"},"modified":"2023-11-24T13:25:41","modified_gmt":"2023-11-24T13:25:41","slug":"a-caribbean-vacation-with-causion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sandbox.reggaenorthca.com\/?p=7204","title":{"rendered":"A Caribbean Vacation with Causion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An unapologetic patriot, singer Causion salutes his home of Antigua on <strong><em>&#8216;Caribbean Vacation&#8217;<\/em><\/strong>, his latest song which features veteran Jamaican deejay Red Fox.<\/p>\n<p>Released on November 17, it is co-written and co-produced by Causion and Jamaican keyboardist Maurice Gregory, a former member of Third World. \u00a0They also performed similar duties on <strong><em>&#8216;Antigua Me Come From&#8217;<\/em><\/strong>, Causion&#8217;s song that was used by Antigua\u2019s tourism industry as part of its promotional campaign. <strong><em>&#8216;Caribbean Vacation&#8217;<\/em><\/strong> is spearheaded by Elite Island Resorts, a leisure company that promotes high-end hotels in Antigua.<\/p>\n<p>Causion, who grew up in the town of St. Paul, did not hesitate when approached to be part of it. \u201cWe have so much to talk about, it is just a beautiful place to be, and you know we forever pushing Antigua,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>&#8216;Antigua Me Come From&#8217; <\/em><\/strong>is one of the tracks from &#8216;Mission in Progress&#8217;, Causion&#8217;s EP which was released in June.\u00a0 Elite Island Resorts has also released a video for <strong><em>&#8216;Caribbean Vacation&#8217;<\/em><\/strong> to further stimulate interest in the song and Antigua, one of the Caribbean&#8217;s leading tourist destinations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An unapologetic patriot, singer Causion salutes his home of Antigua on &#8216;Caribbean Vacation&#8217;, his latest song which features veteran Jamaican deejay Red Fox.
