{"id":7044,"date":"2023-10-27T05:34:26","date_gmt":"2023-10-27T05:34:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sandbox.reggaenorthca.com\/?p=7044"},"modified":"2023-10-27T05:44:13","modified_gmt":"2023-10-27T05:44:13","slug":"prosperity-in-syn-citi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sandbox.reggaenorthca.com\/?p=7044","title":{"rendered":"Prosperity in Syn Citi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Producer Alton Smith calls up some heavy hitters for the <strong><em>\u2018Prosperity Riddim\u2019 <\/em><\/strong>compilation album which was released on October 18 by his Syn Citi Entertainment label.<\/p>\n<p>Rytikal, one of the hottest acts in Jamaican dancehall, roots stalwarts Norris Man and Turbulence, and dancehall veteran I-Octane, have songs on the eight-song set which is the Florida-based company\u2019s second project for 2023.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI selected the artists based on the feedback I got from the riddim and vibes as well,\u201d said Smith, who noted that he has \u201cdefinitely grown as a producer\u201d since debuting with the Syn Citi compilation album two years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Rytikal\u2019s song on the Prosperity is <strong><em>\u2018Mother Earth\u2019<\/em><\/strong>. Norris Man sings <strong><em>\u2018Good Old Days\u2019<\/em><\/strong> while Turbulence\u2019s song is <strong><em>\u2018Against the Ropes\u2019<\/em><\/strong>. I-Octane and Kashu Man team-up for <strong><em>\u2018Don\u2019t Blame Me\u2019<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Upcoming deejays, Vycedon and Bibidon, who did songs on earlier Syn Citi Entertainment albums, are also on the Prosperity. Their songs are <strong><em>\u2018Affliction\u2019<\/em><\/strong> and <strong><em>\u2018Greatness\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, while Nation Boss does <strong><em>\u2018Humble\u2019<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Posterity follows Syn Citi Entertainment\u2019s four-song<strong><em> \u2018Friends and Foes\u2019 <\/em><\/strong>EP which came out in the summer.
