\u2018Bounce and Galang\u2019<\/em><\/strong> a song he recorded on producer Cally B\u2019s Portmore Vybz rhythm for Small Axe Entertainment in 2020 was recently selected for the soundtrack of the new Netflix series titled Survival of the Thickest<\/strong> starring popular American actress Michelle Buteau.<\/p>\n The song is featured in episode seven of the series which was released on Netflix on July 13.\u00a0 Fraser said he was elated when he learned that his song was selected for the soundtrack.<\/p>\n \u201cI was very happy when my manager told me that my song was selected for this soundtrack because I know that this kind of exposure would help to introduce my music to a wider audience. I am a reggae artiste who is making music for an international audience. I want my music to be known all over the world just like Bob Marley\u2019s music,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n However, this is not the first time one of his songs has been featured on a soundtrack; in 2009 his song \u2018Fire Man\u2019<\/em><\/strong> was featured in an episode of Criminal Minds<\/strong>: \u2018Beyond Borders\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, \u2018Fire Man\u2019<\/em><\/strong> was produced by JRK Productions.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s very important for Jamaican artistes to think about the international market when they\u2019re making music and don\u2019t just think about the forwards that your song is going to get in the dancehall parties. The world of music is much bigger than that and opportunities are endless.
