{"id":6785,"date":"2023-09-08T08:48:14","date_gmt":"2023-09-08T08:48:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sandbox.reggaenorthca.com\/?p=6785"},"modified":"2023-09-08T08:54:36","modified_gmt":"2023-09-08T08:54:36","slug":"ras-kronik-upbeat-about-new-album","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sandbox.reggaenorthca.com\/?p=6785","title":{"rendered":"Ras Kronik Upbeat About New Album"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Las Vegas-based reggae artiste Ras Kronik recently released his third full-length project <strong><em>\u2018The Energy\u2019<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 The 12-track album is a global melting pot of sounds including reggae, dancehall, House, and Pop.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the songs featured on the album are Fyah Burn featuring Turbulence, This Morning remix featuring Mr Mig, <strong><em>\u2018Agree to Disagree\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>\u2018Rough Outa Street\u2019<\/em><\/strong> and \u2018<strong><em>Your Love\u2019<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis album is getting a very warm reception from music lovers in various parts of the world including Jamaica, the United States, England, Europe, and Africa. It\u2019s getting exactly the kind of response we anticipated when we were working on it. We produced this album for a global audience that\u2019s why it features so many different genres,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The Clarendon-born singer whose given name is Everton Edwards says he\u2019s confident that over time <strong><em>\u2018The Energy\u2019<\/em><\/strong> will become a classic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe that with continued promotion this album will achieve tremendous commercial success and eventually become a classic. It has all the right elements to achieve that level of success. All the songs on it were professionally written and recorded, and the mixes are great. This is a top-notch production,\u201d said Ras Kronik.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u2018The Energy\u2019<\/em><\/strong> is a collaborative effort of several producers including Sheldon Edwards, Leroy Edwards, Mr Mig, Ricky Dread and Trixxx Anthony Tenyque. \u00a0\u201cI have to big up everyone who was involved in the creation of this wonderful project including my brothers Sheldon and Leroy, Mr Mig, Ricky and Trixxx.
