The Toronto music scene is mourning the loss of a beloved figure, sound selecta Troopa, who recently passed away after a long battle with cancer. Friends, family, and fans have taken to social media to express their shock, disbelief, and heartfelt condolences.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Troopa, a well-known selecta on Toronto’s King Majesty Sound, was a dedicated enthusiast of sound clashes and a great motivator for young talent he encountered. <\/span>DJ Ron Nelson<\/span><\/b>, a prominent figure in hip-hop and dancehall, remembered Troopa as someone who loved everybody, always wore a smile, and exuded boundless energy and enthusiasm for life.
