\u202f<\/span>\u201cAs a Christian singer and songwriter,\u202fspending\u202ftime\u202fmeditating upon the word of God and seeking\u202fhis\u202fpresence continually has allowed me to receive divine inspirations to create new melodies and lyrics for the time and season.<\/span>\u202f<\/span>I\u2019m<\/span>\u202f<\/span>not concerned about making hit songs, the mission is much bigger than that. Every time I step into the recording<\/span>\u202f<\/span>booth.\u202fI’m\u202finspired to create music that will make a positive impact on people and help to make the world a better place,\u201d he said.<\/span>\u202f\u202f<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Baugh<\/span>\u202f<\/span>recently released his<\/span>\u202f<\/span>third<\/span>\u202f<\/span>album,<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b>Acall2worship\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u202f<\/span>which was<\/span>\u202f<\/span>produced by Jim Ebert and<\/span>\u202f<\/span>Niel Ellis.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>The<\/span>\u202f<\/span>eight-track<\/span>\u202f<\/span>album which was released on June 2 features songs such as <\/span>\u2018The Battle Is Won\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b> featuring<\/span>\u202f<\/span>Glacia<\/span>\u202f<\/span>Robinson<\/span>, \u2018City of God\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b> featuring Carlene Baugh, <\/span>\u2018Who Is Like<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u202f<\/span><\/i><\/b>unto<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u202f<\/span><\/i><\/b>Thee\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b>, <\/span>\u2018War Cry\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b>, and <\/span>\u2018Worship\u202fwith\u202fThe\u202fAnge<\/span><\/i><\/b>ls\u2019.<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI began working on this project almost four years ago. During the time leading up to its completion\u202fI\u202freleased a handful of<\/span>\u202f<\/span>singles from the album\u202fincluding <\/span>\u2018My Heart Belongs\u202fto\u202fYou\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b> and <\/span>\u2018It’s You I Worship\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b>.<\/span>\u202f\u202f<\/span>\u202fThe<\/span>\u202f<\/span>singer recently released a video for <\/span>\u2018The Battle Is Won\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b> from the album.<\/span>\u202f\u202f<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m<\/span>\u202f<\/span>pleased with the feedback that I am getting about this video.<\/span>\u202f<\/span>Everyone<\/span>\u202f<\/span>who\u2019s<\/span>\u202f<\/span>seen it has given it the thumbs<\/span>\u202f<\/span>up. It is a very uplifting song.<\/span>\u202f<\/span>I am so humbled that God has chosen\u202fGlacia\u202fand I as the messengers\u202fto<\/span>\u202f<\/span>deliver this message of hope to his people.”<\/span>\u202f\u00a0 <\/span>Rayon Baugh came to national attention<\/span>\u202f<\/span>when he\u202fentered\u202fthe\u202fJCDC gospel festival<\/span>\u202f<\/span>in 1992<\/span>\u202f<\/span>with a song <\/span>titled<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u202f\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b>Keep Your Feet<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u202f<\/span><\/i><\/b>on<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u202f<\/span><\/i><\/b>The<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u202f<\/span><\/i><\/b>Ground\u2019.<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u202f\u202f<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u202f<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u202f<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u00a0<\/span>\u202f<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u202f<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Prior to the release of his latest<\/span>\u202f<\/span>album <\/span>\u2018ACALL2WORSHIP\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b>,<\/span>\u202f<\/span>he<\/span>\u202f<\/span>released two albums<\/span>, \u2018Keep Your Feet<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u202f<\/span><\/i><\/b>on<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u202f<\/span><\/i><\/b>the Ground\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b> (1999) and <\/span>\u2018The Journey\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b> (2005)<\/span>\u202f\u202f\u202f<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Rayon Baugh is also a published author; he made his<\/span>\u202f<\/span>literary<\/span>\u202f<\/span>debut in 2019 with the publication of his book titled<\/span>\u202f\u2018<\/span>#ACall2Worship\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b> which chronicles his\u202flife journey and his walk with God. It also gives insights about the<\/span>\u202f<\/span>type of worship that God<\/span>\u202f<\/span>desires from his people.\u202f<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The book and the album are of the same name and are one project. “As one reads the book one can also listen to songs of praise and worship as time is spent in his\u202fpresence, “he\u202fsaid.<\/span>\u202f<\/span>All his work is now available on all digital platforms.<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
