Just over one year after his previous album was released, I-Octane returns with <\/span>\u2018Dancehall Gift\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b> which is released today (July 7).\u00a0 The singjay\u2019s latest set has 10 songs and has a different sound than <\/span>\u2018I Am Great\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b>, its predecessor.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI Am Great was more like an inspirational\/motivational love energy, but this new album is more on the dancehall side,\u201d said I-Octane. He added that it is critical to release albums at appropriate junctures to retain fan interest.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt is important for artists to release singles a few times for the year to keep their brand active, but albums once every year or every year and half,\u201d he said.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Three songs — <\/span>\u2018Speed Up di Process\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b>, <\/span>\u2018Keep it Coming\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b> and <\/span>\u2018Da Wine Deh\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b> — are the songs released to date from <\/span>\u2018Dancehall Gift\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b>. Conquer The Globe Productions, Seanizzle, Troyton Music and ZJ Liquid are some of the producers who worked on the album.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Conquer The Globe Productions and Troyton Music produced <\/span>\u2018I Am Great\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b>.\u00a0 In addition to \u2018<\/span>I Am Great\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b>, I-Octane released several singles in 2022 including <\/span>\u2018Independent\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b>, <\/span>\u2018Chocolate\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b> (done with Inner Circle) and <\/span>\u2018Paranoid\u2019<\/span><\/i><\/b>, a collaboration with Rygin King.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
