Dancehall artiste Taffi is ready to take her place in the musical spotlight.\u00a0 The vivacious singjay who is signed to\u00a0Deezl House Production\u00a0has come a long way since finishing 8th in the 2014 staging of the Digicel Rising Stars talent show.<\/p>\n
\u201cI thought the experience I gained in Rising Stars was enough to prepare me for the music business. However, as it turned out I had a lot more to learn because it is not easy to make it in the music business without a solid team behind you. Which is something that I did not have until I started working with Deezl House.\u201d<\/p>\n
She continued, \u201cWorking with this label has given me the opportunity to record my songs without having to worry about marketing and promotion because I know that they will take care of those things. This frees me up to focus on writing and recording and performing and I love that.\u201d<\/p>\n
Taffi is currently promoting her thought-provoking new single titled \u2018Gi Mi Dat\u2019<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is a nice fun dancehall song that has a kind of feel-good vibes which makes you want to get up and dance every time you hear it. Since we began promoting it, it has been generating a buzz in the streets. It is also getting radio play both locally and overseas,\u201d said Taffi.<\/p>\n The song which was produced by Deezl House Production was released on April 23. It is available on all popular digital platforms including Itunes, Spotify and Amazon.<\/p>\n Taffi whose given name is Vaneca Gardner is from Old Harbour, St. Catherine.
