In December 2021, Jah Cure posted a video of his young daughter singing a cover of Bruno Mars\u2019\u00a0\u2018Talking to the Moon\u2019\u00a0<\/strong>and fans immediately jumped in the chat to offer words of praise and encouragement.<\/p>\n

\u201cJah Cure stay positive. Focus on positive thoughts and what you are going to do moving forward,\u201d was the message from Ang.i.ray.<\/p>\n

Fast-forward to one year later and Jah Cure, still behind those prison walls, is ready to release a brand-new album on the VP Records imprint. In his first interview since the incident which led to him being arrested in Amsterdam and being found guilty of attempted manslaughter and sentenced to six years in prison, Jah Cure, first and foremost, had a word for his fans.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy message to my fans is I apologise for this situation I get myself caught up in. I would like to give this album to you as a special gift from me to you. Until we see each other soon, I will have some interesting songs to share with you,\u201d Jah Cure said.<\/p>\n

The album is titled\u00a0\u2018Undeniable\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0and with titles such\u00a0\u2018Beautiful\u2019<\/strong>,\u00a0\u2018Think About it\u2019<\/strong>,\u00a0\u2018Trust\u2019<\/strong>,\u00a0\u2018One More Time\u2019<\/strong>,\u00a0\u2018Be the One\u2019<\/strong>,\u00a0\u2018If I Had You\u2019<\/strong>,\u00a0\u2018Turn off the Lights\u2019<\/strong>,\u00a0\u2018Everything\u2019\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0\u2018Good Life\u2019<\/strong>, the songs suggest that fans will be hearing from Jah Cure the lover.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is true to the extent of 120 per cent. It\u2019s about the undeniable lover in me,\u201d Jah Cure said.<\/p>\n

\u2018Undeniable\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0sees Jah Cure reaching across to the continent of Africa for a collab with Ghanaian Afropop, dancehall and reggae artiste, Stonebwoy and he shared why he decided to include him on this project.<\/p>\n

\u201cStonebwoy is one of my brothers from another mother. We recorded some songs together when he was in Jamaica and this song was one of them. From the long list of songs that we have to choose from, this ended up being one of our favourites,\u201d Jah Cure, born Siccature Alcock shared.<\/p>\n

The title track features talented, rising star Kaylan Arnold on one of only two collabs and, for Jah Cure it was important to feature her on\u00a0\u2018Undeniable\u2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cKaylan Arnold has been a big fan of my music for years. She reached out to me from 2016 because she would like me to help her with her music. I discovered that she is very talented. So, I think it\u2019s time for her now to get that opportunity that she deserves,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

According to Jah Cure\u2019s bio, his first big break came in March 1997 when he released the single\u00a0\u2018King in this Jungle\u2019\u00a0<\/strong>which was a collab with Sizzla. The song was produced by Beres Hammond who went on to become his mentor. He then released several singles that received critical and popular acclaim.<\/p>\n

Beres Hammond eventually took Cure under his tutelage and began mentoring him and producing his music in the studio. In 1998, Cure performed on a European tour and visited several Caribbean Islands with Beres Hammond and the Harmony House Family.<\/p>\n

Free Jah\u2019s Cure The Album the Truth<\/strong>\u00a0was released in 2000,\u00a0Ghetto Life<\/strong>\u00a0in 2003 and\u00a0Freedom Blues<\/strong>\u00a0in 2005.<\/p>\n

Songs such as\u00a0Unconditional Love<\/strong>\u00a0(feat Phyllisia),\u00a0That Girl<\/strong>,\u00a0Never Find<\/strong>,\u00a0Longing For<\/strong>,\u00a0Love Is<\/strong>,\u00a0All of me<\/strong>,\u00a0What Will it Take<\/strong>,\u00a0Before I Leave<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Sticky<\/strong>, have ensured that Jah Cure is no stranger to moving big numbers, having sold gold, platinum and double platinum over the years. His VP Records album,\u00a0The Cure<\/strong>, topped the\u00a0Billboard<\/strong>\u00a0Reggae Albums chart in its first week of release and was nominated in the Best Reggae Album Category in the 2016 Grammy Awards.<\/p>\n

\u201cI absolutely hope that\u00a0Undeniable<\/strong>\u00a0will be another Grammy nomination,\u201d Jah Cure said, adding, \u201cI have many favourites [on Undeniable] and it\u2019s hard to choose one, but if I have to choose it\u2019s\u00a0Think About it<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n
