It is an updated version of the film which stars Dennis and fellow\u00a0Jamaicans Paul Campbell and Oliver Samuels.\u00a0 It is co-directed by R. Stephen Johnson and Qmillion.<\/p>\n<p>The Amazon Prime release precedes a meet-and-greet\u00a0party on December 27\u00a0at Poom Poom Tuesdays, a popular spot in Los Angeles for dancehall fans and lovers of Jamaican culture.\u00a0 \u201cE-Dee who has appeared in several movies since his debut in <strong><em>&#8216;Out the Gate&#8217;<\/em><\/strong>, spoke about his personal attachment to the film which was shown in theaters in New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Toronto, and Kingston.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u201cOut the Gate\u201d <\/em><\/strong>is my biopic, so it\u2019s me telling my story which I think is one of the best things an artist can do or should do, or else someone will tell your story for you,\u201d he said.\u00a0 <strong><em>\u201cOut The Gate&#8217;s <\/em><\/strong>soundtrack has six songs by E-Dee who has three albums to his credit. The latest, <strong><em>&#8216;Elevate&#8217;<\/em><\/strong>, was released in May.\u00a0 The Amazon Prime edition of the movie is enhanced by improved sound and closed caption.<\/p>\n<p>E-Dee is from Clarendon parish in central Jamaica.\u00a0He has appeared in other movies such as <strong><em>&#8216;Gangland&#8217;<\/em><\/strong> and <strong><em>&#8216;Temperature Rising&#8217;<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 <strong><em>Mother-in-Law&#8217;<\/em><\/strong>, his latest project, stars Vivica A.
