C. Lodge. None is special as his latest effort,<strong><em> \u2018Recharge You Remix\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, which he did with his son, Lindo.<\/p>\n<p>Released in November, the song is co-produced by the father and son with Jon FX, the man behind by Gyptian\u2019s <strong><em>\u2018Hold Yuh\u2019<\/em><\/strong> and early hits by rapper XXXtentacion.<\/p>\n<p>Hopeton Lindo is thrilled at recording a song with his youngest child.\u00a0 \u201cWords cannot express my love for my son., so for us to do a father and son \u2018collab\u2019 is pure magic,\u201d he said.\u00a0 Lindo, who wrote <strong><em>\u2018Recharge You Remix\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, expressed similar sentiments. For him, sharing the mic with his \u2018old man\u2019 is \u201camazing\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>He added that, \u201cSince I first started doing music, I knew we were going to do a collab, it was only a matter of time. A lot of people don\u2019t have the chance to do things with their dad. So, I seized the opportunity and asked him to let us do a remix to one of his favorite songs from me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As a singer, Hopeton Lindo is best known for songs like <strong><em>\u2018Territory\u2019 <\/em><\/strong>and <strong><em>\u2018Lonely Night\u2019<\/em><\/strong>. His nickname is \u2018<strong><em>The Pen\u2019<\/em><\/strong> because of his prolific song writing, which includes hits by Lodge, Gregory Isaacs, Buju Banton and Maxi Priest.\u00a0 His son is excited about the merge of different eras.\u00a0 \u201cIt\u2019s very important because his era is the foundation of the music that I make now.
