What matters most to me is family, what kind of world will my children and grandkids grow up to see,\u201d said Lindo.<\/p>\n<p>It was Lindo who approached Griffiths and McGregor to share the mic with him on <strong><em>\u2018Don\u2019t Do It\u2019<\/em><\/strong>. He believes it is critical for veteran performers to stay relevant even as music trends evolve.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s important that foundation artists keep pushing on as it maintains a balance in the type of music being delivered,\u201d Lindo stated.<\/p>\n<p>Writer or co-writer of hit songs like <strong><em>\u2018Temptress\u2019<\/em><\/strong> by Maxi Priest, <strong><em>\u2018Red Rose for Gregory\u2019<\/em><\/strong> by Gregory Isaacs and \u2018<strong><em>Telephone Love\u2019<\/em><\/strong> from J.C. Lodge, Lindo has been recording since the mid-1980s.
