Two of the most consistent reggae production labels in Canada, Phylani Music and Tasjay Productions, have combined to create the\u00a0\u2018My Turn Riddim\u2019\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Compilation.<\/p>\n

The eight tracks album featuring songs from some top reggae artists and young reggae crooners makes this a must-have for all authentic reggae lovers. The\u00a0\u2018My Turn Riddim\u2019\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>hit the market on October 21, 2022 and will be available in all leading online stores.<\/p>\n

Luciano starts the album with a track called\u00a0\u2018World Destruction\u2019<\/strong><\/em>, followed by Ed Robinson-\u00a0\u2018Walking Out\u2019<\/strong><\/em>, Tony Anthony-\u2018My Turn\u2019<\/strong><\/em>, Rad Dixon-\u2018Some People<\/strong><\/em>, Troy Bronxz-\u2018Ex Man\u2019<\/strong><\/em>, Fiona Chin-\u2018Rise to the Top\u2019<\/strong><\/em>, Onique-\u2018I\u2019m a Fighter<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0and Treson-\u2018Got to go Now\u2019<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

This is not the first time Tasjay Production and Phylani Music have combined on a project. Tony Anthony is the CEO of Phylani Music, and he has recorded several songs and videos with Tasjay Productions in the past, notably\u00a0\u2018Locked in Someone Else\u2019s Arms\u2019\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>on the\u00a0\u2018Outta Jamaica Riddim\u2019<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0and the remake of Tayla Daynes\u2019s\u00a0\u2018Love Will Lead You Back\u2019<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0accompanied by a video which has gained over 60,000 views on YouTube to date.<\/p>\n

Both producers share mutual respect and are elated with the outcome of the project. \u201cIt was great working with Tony Anthony on this project.\u00a0 \u201cHe is a great vocalist, and he pays attention to details when it comes to music production,\u201d James Smith, CEO of Tasjay Production shared. \u201cThe songs on the\u00a0\u2018My Turn Riddim\u2019<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0will inspire and edify people.\u00a0 We believe the masses will embrace this compilation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tasjay Productions’s catalog includes the\u00a0\u2018Outta Jamaica Riddim\u2019<\/strong><\/em>,\u00a0\u2018Arise Riddim\u2019<\/strong><\/em>,\u00a0\u2018Change\u2019<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0EP with Rad Dixon, Horace Martin\u2019s album\u00a0\u2018Arise\u2019<\/strong>, and the recently released ‘Heaven Bound’<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0EP by Leroy Gibbon.<\/p>\n

Phylani Music has mostly done production with reggae artist Tony Anthony. The company is responsible for the artist\u2019s 2010 JUNO nominated album\u00a0\u2018Million Chance\u2019<\/strong><\/em>, his 2014 sophomore album\u00a0\u2018Live to the Fullest\u2019,\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>and his 2019 UK album of the year-winning album\u00a0\u2018Then Now and Forever.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Phylani Music also produced Tony Anthony\u2019s number-one singles\u00a0\u2018Torn\u2019<\/strong><\/em>,\u00a0\u2018Mark and the Beast\u2019<\/strong><\/em>,\u00a0\u2018Wonderful Sound\u2019<\/strong><\/em>, and\u00a0\u2018There Goes My Baby<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

Top musicians Dean Fraser on Saxophone and Cleon Beckford on drums worked on the\u00a0\u2018My Turn Riddim\u2019<\/strong><\/em>, <\/em>alongside musical director extraordinaire Osborne \u201cIfield\u201d Joseph who played all the other instruments on the track. The album was mixed and mastered by Willie and Kashief Lindo at their Heavy Beat Recording studio in Florida.<\/p>\n
