{"id":3299,"date":"2022-04-22T08:15:55","date_gmt":"2022-04-22T08:15:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sandbox.reggaenorthca.com\/?p=3299"},"modified":"2022-04-22T08:15:55","modified_gmt":"2022-04-22T08:15:55","slug":"open-doors-re-launches-in-orlando-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sandbox.reggaenorthca.com\/?p=3299","title":{"rendered":"Open Doors Re-launches in Orlando"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A number of roots-reggae heavyweights are scheduled to perform at the launch of Open Doors Records\u2019 recording studio in Orlando, Florida on June 18<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>The label and studio are owned by Jason \u201cJahson\u201d Bromfield, a veteran studio engineer who has worked with many of the acts billed for the show. Everton Blender, Norrisman, Jesse Jendah and Turbulence are some of the established artists confirmed for the event. Jah Niceness, Don Roye, Shanpelle, Humbleton and Pyvital are also expected to perform.<\/p>\n<p>Bromfield is originally from Spanish Town but was raised in Waterhouse. Open Doors Records\u2019 initial studio opened in the summer of 2020, also in Orlando.\u00a0 The company switched locations one year ago and has since released the <strong><em>\u2018Purpose Riddim\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, a compilation album.<\/p>\n<p>Its first project was the <strong><em>\u2018Open Doors\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, another \u2018riddim\u2019 compilation.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to launching Open Doors, Bromfield worked with several top producers and artists in Jamaica, including Jack Scorpio, Donovan Germain, Junior Reid and Richard \u201cBello\u201d Bell.<\/p>\n<p>He came of age as an engineer at Bell\u2019s Startrail Records, working on hit songs including <strong><em>\u2018Family Man\u2019<\/em><\/strong> by Everton Blender and Anthony B\u2019s <strong><em>\u2018Raid the Barn\u2019<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong><em>\u2018Open Doors Riddim\u2019<\/em><\/strong> featured songs from Blender, Norrisman, Jah Niceness and Jahmali.
