He migrated to Toronto, Canada, bringing his soulful voice, conscious lyrics, and vast musical experience. Ras Penco\u2019s momentum never stopped when he moved to Canada. He continued making strides, working with Greezzly Production from Italy and Action House Music in Canada. He released songs like\u00a0\u2018Want the Good Life\u2019<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0featuring Hazard, a burgeoning artiste from Canada. Other releases include\u00a0\u2018Promise\u2019<\/strong><\/em>,\u00a0\u2018Is All for You\u2019<\/strong><\/em>,\u00a0\u2018Step Out Hard\u2019<\/strong><\/em>, the acoustic-driven\u00a0\u2018Mama Love\u2019<\/strong><\/em>, and\u00a0\u2018Pressure of Life\u2019.<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0 More recently he dropped tracks like\u00a0\u2018Love Me for Me\u2019<\/strong>, the classic\u00a0\u2018He is the Savior\u2019, \u2018Dreamy Eyes’<\/strong><\/em>,\u00a0\u2018Social Distance\u2019<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0and his latest single and video\u00a0\u2018No Stop a Stop’<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n Reggae sensation Reinford \u201cRas Penco\u201d Woodburn, hails from Riversdale, St. Catherine. \u00a0The artiste found his passion for music at a tender age. Since then, he has been living up to his name\u00a0\u201cThe Mighty Warrior\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>by sending powerful messages in his songs.<\/p>\n Ras Penco got his first introduction to music when he was introduced to the Fifth Element family by singer Chuck Fenda. Penco started working with Fifth Element in 2003, being the opening act for reggae singer Richie Spice locally and internationally. His first single,\u00a0\u2018Go for Your Gold\u2019<\/strong><\/em>, produced by Fifth Element and released on the VP Records label, got a great deal of international publicity.<\/p>\n In 2009, the reggae crooner raised the bar with his chart-topping hit single\u00a0\u2018Thousand Miles\u2019<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0that garnered airplay on radio and television throughout the Caribbean and North America. The single went to #1 in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands, and the video has been in regular rotation on BETJ and VH1 Soul ever since. His single\u00a0\u2018Be by My Side\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0reached number 8 on Canada’s R&B music charts and received heavy rotation in the USA.<\/p>\n Ras Penco has appeared on several stage shows and concerts locally and abroad, such as Reggae Sumfest, Rebel Salute, Best of the Best, Miami, All Spice at the Belvedere Sports Complex, South of France Reggae Festival, France and Irie Jamboree and California Reggae Pon Di River, United States.<\/p>\n Ras Penco has worked with producer Uprize Music, Notice Production, Warrior Music, Signature Entertainment, UTH Music and Terminal 3.
