So, for his latest project, <strong><em>\u2018Best Reggae Lovers Rock Covers\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, the singer puts his distinct flavor to four classic songs. Like most of his recordings, it is produced by Tasjay Productions.<\/p>\n<p>Two of the tracks on <strong><em>&#8216;Best Reggae&#8217;<\/em><\/strong> have already been released. They are the\u00a0Kenny Rogers original, <strong><em>\u2018Write Your Name\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, and <strong><em>\u2018If I Follow my Heart\u2019,<\/em><\/strong> originally done\u00a0by Dennis Brown. The other songs on the EP are <strong><em>\u2018Suddenly\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, originally done by Billy Ocean and the Bryan Adams ballad, <strong><em>\u2018Everything I do I do it For You\u2019<\/em><\/strong>. <strong><em>\u2018Suddenly\u2019 <\/em><\/strong>features veteran Toronto-based session guitarist, Osbourne \u201cIfield\u201d Joseph. <strong><em>\u2018Best Reggae Lovers Rock Covers\u2019<\/em><\/strong> is scheduled for release on January 1.<\/p>\n<p>Dixon, who lives in South Florida, is from Manchester parish in Jamaica. That\u2019s where he grew up listening to sound systems and a deejay named Little Bimbo, who later found fame as singer Garnet Silk whom he cites as one of his biggest influences. Most of Dixon\u2019s songs are produced by Tasjay Productions, including <strong><em>\u2018Keep the Children Safe\u2019<\/em><\/strong> and <strong><em>\u2018Baby Don\u2019t Worry\u2019.<\/em><\/strong> He was one of the artists featured on the <strong><em>\u2018Outa Jamaica Riddim\u2019 <\/em><\/strong>Album, released in 2020 by Tasjay Productions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rad Dixon has always had an eclectic ear when it comes to music.
