The various artiste\u2019s compilation debuted at number four on the sales-driven US Current Reggae Albums chart last week.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt&#8217;s a great feeling just to know I can release a riddim-driven project that can make it on the chart. Over the years people have said that riddim-driven albums are not selling. So, this is a testament that producing good music and proper marketing can reap results,\u201d Hanson said to the Jamaica Observer.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Freedom Sound\u00a0rhythm project was released on September 17. It has 14 tracks including songs by Grammy winner Mykal Rose, gold-selling\u00a0Billboard\u00a0charting reggae group Big Mountain, international acts Marina Peralta, Kings and Comrades, Pressure Busspipe, King Tappa and Jamaica-born Canada-based Juno-award nominee Ammoye.<\/p>\n<p>It also debuted at number one on the US iTunes Reggae chart upon its release. \u201cI have been working hard for over nine months, six months in production and two to three months doing marketing and promotion for this project. But I am happy the hard work is paying off,\u201d he said<\/p>\n<p>Videos for three songs on the projects,\u00a0<strong><em>\u2018Fade Away\u2019<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0by Lutan Fyah,\u00a0<strong><em>Freedom Fighters<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0by Marina Peralta, and\u00a0<strong>\u2018<em>Love Spell\u2019<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0by King Tappa have been released.<\/p>\n<p>Other tracks featured on the\u00a0Freedom Sound\u00a0rhythm includes\u00a0<strong>\u2018<em>Want to Be Free\u2019<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>by Anthony B,\u00a0<strong><em>\u2018Good People\u2019\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>by Chezidek,\u00a0<strong><em>\u2018Stop and Smell the Roses\u2019\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>by Ammoye,\u00a0<strong><em>\u2018Rise to the Top\u2019<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0by Kings and <strong><em>\u2018Comrades,\u00a0No More Lies\u2019\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>by Junior Kelly,\u00a0<strong>\u2018<em>I Give You Love\u2019 <\/em><\/strong>by Mykal Rose,\u00a0<strong>\u2018<em>Hear that Sound\u2019<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0by Big Mountain featuring Quino,\u00a0<strong>\u2018<em>Good People\u2019 (Johnny Good)<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0by Chezidek and Perfect Giddimani;\u00a0<strong>\u2018<em>Like Jah\u2019<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>by Pressure Busspipe; and\u00a0<strong>\u2018<em>Greatest\u2019<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0by Richie Spice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Producer\u00a0Adrian \u201cDonesome\u201d Hanson is quite upbeat about the success of his\u00a0\u2018Freedom Sound\u00a0rhythm\u2019 project.
