Pics by-CleopatrasCanvas.com<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n Kordel\u2019s interest in photography got triggered when he was a 14-year-old kid in East New York, Brooklyn. \u201cI started as a teenager, my dad did photography and I was always into videos,” he said. “Once I noticed you can capture a moment in time and look back at it hearing the audio and it just makes you feel the nostalgia, I was hooked.”<\/p>\n Kordel Fermin is the CEO of KordelFerminVisuals. He moved to Canada in 2017 and has established himself as one of the go-to videographers in Toronto. He has worked with artists like Mel C, Tokyo Breeze, Cowbell Yell, Cory Hotline and is currently working on a video project with reggae artist Comf4th.\u00a0Kordel is no stranger to reggae, he has worked with dancehall artiste Macka Diamond and\u00a0Busy Signal and Afro B on video projects. \u201cI DP\u2019ed the video (director of photography) with Warrior films out of Jamaica,” he said. “It was a wonderful experience. Busy Signal is so Down to earth, he was an absolute pleasure to work with.\u201d<\/p>\n Kordell is currently working on his second music video with Macka Dimond. He is scripting a few songs for soca artists in New York and editing Halloween promos. Kordell wants to do more creative videos with bigger budgets and commercial video\u00a0work.
