It is the first production project for Open Door Records and its founder\/CEO, Jason \u201cJah Son\u201d Bromfield.<\/p>\n<p>It contains songs by a number of noted roots acts such as Luciano <strong><em>Whatever You Want<\/em><\/strong>, Everton Blender <strong><em>Going Down,<\/em><\/strong> Anthony B <strong><em>Born to Love<\/em><\/strong> and Jahmali <strong><em>Place Where From<\/em><\/strong>. \u201cReleasing my first \u2018riddim\u2019 brought tears to my eyes. I learned through my struggles. I\u2019m proud of myself!\u201d Bromfield exclaimed. \u201cI am very satisfied with the entire sound and album\u2026my appreciation goes out to all the artists that sung from their heart.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bromfield, who grew up in the Drewsland area of Kingston, Jamaica, launched Open Doors Studio in Orlando last year. Prior to migrating to the United States, he was in-house engineer at the studios of Maurice \u201cJack Scorpio\u201d Johnson, Junior Reid, Penthouse Records and Startrail Records. At the latter, he worked with producer Richard Bell, the man behind Anthony B\u2019s <strong><em>Fire Pon Rome<\/em><\/strong> and <strong><em>Raid The Barn<\/em><\/strong>, as well as <strong><em>Lift up Your Head<\/em><\/strong> and <strong><em>Family Man<\/em><\/strong> which gave Everton Blender his break.<\/p>\n<p>Bromfield went for an old school sound with his debut production. He enlisted veteran musicians like saxophonist Dean Fraser, guitarist Winston \u201cBo Pee\u201d Bowen, bassist Donald \u201cDanny Bassie\u201d Dennis and keyboardist Paul \u201cWrongmove\u201d Crosdale of The Firehouse Crew and Kirk Bennett on drums. As he created the \u2018riddim\u2019 with Tony Blair, Bromfield recalled lessons he learned from Jack Scorpio and Bell. \u201cJack Scorpio taught me never to give up, go out there and search for new, fresh talent. I have three new talents, Shanpelle Jones, Break Free and Jah Niceness.
