Annie Bynoe, one of Brampton\u2019s most respected community leaders and nonprofit executives, will be presented with the Key to the City of Brampton on Friday, January 30, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Rose Theatre. Bynoe is the Executive Director of Knights Table, a Brampton-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing food, advocacy, and social support services to individuals and families facing hardship. Over the course of her career, she has worked extensively in social services and community development, focusing on programs that empower vulnerable populations to achieve stability, dignity, and self-sufficiency.<\/p>\n
Under Bynoe\u2019s leadership, Knights Table has grown significantly, particularly during periods of heightened community need. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she guided the organization through unprecedented challenges, expanding its capacity to deliver meals, food supports, and programming for youth and seniors. Her strategic and compassionate approach helped ensure that essential services remained accessible when many residents needed them most.<\/p>\n
