Released on August 14, she produced the track and played all instruments.<\/p>\n<p>It is the lead song from <strong><em>\u2018Elephant\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, her second EP which is scheduled for release in October. While not much has been heard from her in recent times, Cen\u2019C Love insists she has not been twiddling her thumbs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve produced music that featured several reggae artists \u2014 Capleton, Sizzla, Richie Spice, Warrior King. I also co-produced (songs) with my dad, Cocoa Tea, and acted as a musical director with other respected producers,\u201d Cen\u2019C Love disclosed. \u201cBut not everyone knows that I make so much of that music, so I want to re-establish myself not just as a singer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Dad\u2019 is Bunny Wailer, the legendary reggae singer\/songwriter who died in 2021. He had a major impact on her personally and professionally.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe best advice my father gave to me was to be independent; self sufficient. He always taught me the importance of owning as much as I can,\u201d said Cen\u2019C Love.<\/p>\n<p>There are only three songs on <strong><em>\u2018Elephant\u2019<\/em><\/strong> which hits the market 17 years after <strong><em>\u2018A Little More Time\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, her first EP. <strong><em>\u2018Love Letter\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, Cen\u2019C Love\u2019s only album, was released in 2011.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Habibi\u2019 is actually her second song for 2025. She collaborated with drummer\/singer Paul Kastick on <strong><em>\u2018Is This Love\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, a cover of the1987 power ballad by rock band Whitesnake.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u2018Habibi\u2019 may be her first solo song in some time, but Cen\u2019C Love does not consider it a comeback.
