Toronto-born reggae artist NKRUMAH is winning over audiences across Europe with his dynamic stage presence and soul-stirring conscious reggae on his debut European tour. Accompanied by the Canadian Roots Syndicate\u2014which includes Marky Lyrical from Montreal and Selector Guillaume Stepping from Sutton, Quebec\u2014the group kicked off their month-long journey with a standout performance at the Dub Station Festival in Marseille, France.<\/p>\n

\"\"The tour has already taken them through some of the continent’s most respected dub and reggae gatherings, including Dub Camp in Nantes and Villette in Dub at P\u00e9niche Cin\u00e9ma in Paris on July 8, where they shared the bill with @neboty_roots_corner.<\/p>\n

Next up, the crew is set to perform at one of Europe\u2019s most iconic music events, Dour Festival in Belgium, on Friday, July 18\u2014marking another significant milestone in NKRUMAH’s blossoming international journey.<\/p>\n

In addition to thrilling audiences on stage, NKRUMAH has been busy in the studio laying down dubplates and recording new tracks expected to drop later this year. He also expressed gratitude to Feston Natural Ness for engineering the sessions. \u201cGreat studio. Great sound. One Love,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\"\"With nearly 30 years in the reggae scene, NKRUMAH\u2019s commitment to the music is unwavering. He wrote his first verse at the age of 14 while sitting in a classroom in Toronto. That verse, shared with two classmates, sparked a fire that has since turned into a lifelong mission.<\/p>\n

In 2023, his contributions to the genre were formally recognized with the \u201cExcellence in Reggae Music Consciousness\u201d award\u2014further solidifying his place as a torchbearer of modern roots reggae.<\/p>\n
