It was released in early February.<\/p>\n<p>Barnett, who has produced songs by Denyque and Chronic Law, said it was I-Octane who approached him to build a \u2018riddim\u2019 for a song about devious people. The singjay thought Shane O would be perfect to share the mic.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u2018Opportunist\u2019<\/em><\/strong> is about people who like to use or drain other people\u2019s energy for their own personal gain. People who no longer believe in win-win deals where both parties benefit,\u201d he disclosed.<\/p>\n<p>From Portmore in St. Catherine parish, Jamaica, Barnett has been a producer for five years. He considers <strong><em>\u2018Between Me and You\u2019<\/em><\/strong> by Denyque, <strong><em>\u2018Revenge\u2019<\/em><\/strong> by Chronic Law and <strong><em>\u2018Soul Cry\u2019<\/em><\/strong> from Lisa Hyper to be his most successful songs to date.<\/p>\n<p>An admirer of dancehall artists and producers from the 1980s and 1990s, Barnett takes a different approach to production.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI use the power of marketing and interpersonal skills.
