Some even get married to the same person twice.\u00a0 G Cole sings about such situations in <strong><em>\u2018Forgiven\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, his latest song which is produced by Ed Robinson. He wrote it based on experiences of some of his friends, but G Cole says he is an unlikely candidate for a revived relationship.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI&#8217;ve definitely had people from my past try to revisit a relationship, but once I&#8217;ve moved on, I&#8217;ve moved on, no interest in going backwards. Imagine how silly I would feel being in my second season of the same miserable relationship,\u201d he said. \u201cTell me you wouldn&#8217;t laugh at your friend if he got divorced from the same woman twice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u2018Forgiven\u2019<\/em><\/strong> continues G Cole\u2019s reputation of writing songs based on personal experience. <strong><em>\u2018Peace of Mind Is a Holiday\u2019<\/em><\/strong> was inspired by the tranquility of a vacation, while <strong><em>\u2018My Father\u2019s Song\u2019<\/em><\/strong> is an ode to fatherhood.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is definitely more natural to draw on real-life scenarios when writing songs, it&#8217;s about how vulnerable you are capable of being, or want to be,\u201d said G Cole.\u00a0 <strong><em>\u2018Forgiven\u2019<\/em><\/strong> is expected to be one of the tracks on his fourth album, scheduled for release later this year.<\/p>\n<p>Based in South Florida where he works as a broadcaster, G Cole is from Ocho Rios. His previous albums are <strong><em>\u2018This Music Vol 1 Return to Vintage\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>\u2018Ocho Rios\u2019<\/em><\/strong> and <strong><em>\u2018This Music\u2019<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Many people believe in second chances for relationships.
