US-based Guyanese recording artiste Samuel the Comet formerly known as Comet is promising his reggae-loving fans an array of good music in 2025 and beyond.<\/p>\n
The sprightly songwriter and producer, real name is Samuel Benjamin, says he excited as he gets ready to release a lover\u2019s anthem titled \u2018Don\u2019t Let Go\u2019 <\/em><\/strong>on Valentine\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n The self-produced track was recorded on his Ready Now Entertainment record label.<\/p>\n \u201c2025 is going to be an amazing year, I am excited by the materials I have to release. I am starting off the year right this Valentine\u2019s Day with \u2018Don\u2019t Let Go\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, which I believe will resonate with people who believe that true love still exists,\u201d said Samuel the Comet.<\/p>\n The multi-talented musician says he is pleased with the steady growth of his career.<\/p>\n \u201d The growth is magical,\u201d says the Linden, Guyana-born singer, whose love for reggae surpasses the one he has for his native\u2019s Shanto, or Calypso music.<\/p>\n \u201cI have a brethren, his name is Zion, and as a youth every time I go to his home to hold a vibes, he used to be playing Bob Marley, Burning Spare, and people like Dennis Brown. I used to listen all of them, and then later in my teenage years, I came across Culture\u2019s album (Wings of a Dove<\/em><\/strong>), and the songs were speaking to my reality. That is when I said, \u2018roots reggae music is my favourite of all genres\u2019,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Samuel the Comet said he plan to continue producing music that will have a lasting impact on the world.<\/p>\n \u201cThe vision for my label and for my music career is to touch the lives of people all over the world with positive, uplifting music.
