The track, produced by Fatah, was released on January 2 this year.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u2018Johnny\u2019<\/em><\/strong> dives deep into the acidic culture that plagues most inner-city communities and serves as a warning to youths who intends to live a life of crime and violence.<\/p>\n<p>The track was done on a remake version of the Bitter Blood rhythm, which was composed by the legendary production duo Steelie and Clevie.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGrowing up, my father uses to sing the song <strong><em>\u2018Johnny be good tonight\u2019<\/em><\/strong>. Johnny represents a person who wants to be recognised as the \u201cbad boy\u201d and earn respect in the garrison. Every community have or know a <strong><em>\u2018Johnny\u2019<\/em><\/strong>,\u201d remarked the versatile singjay.<\/p>\n<p>R Embassida said he was pleased with the support that he has been getting since the song was released.\u00a0 \u201cThe song has been getting a lot of support, and I am so grateful for that,\u201d the jubilant artiste stated.<\/p>\n<p>A music video for the single is set to be released in two weeks, but R Embassida said he is already back in the studio working.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJust keep looking out for me, there is so much more music to come from me in 2025,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Priory to the release of this new single he was noticeably absent from the music scene for some time. The <strong><em>\u2018Journey\u2019<\/em><\/strong> lyricist said this was due to an overwhelming need to spend time with his family.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI took a break for a little while to focus on family, but behind scenes I was writing and still recording songs periodically.
